I personally
use prayer and Christian faith
and do not use the meditation
 or eastern concepts.

the insights on trauma release
are adaptaptable to our personal beliefs

trauma, it seems is
not only cognativly stored or repressed
but acvtually stored in the body.

I read a book or article
 "the body remembers"

in the case of early sexual abuse
in very early years more trauma
may be stored in the body
which from my experience
is accessed and released
through psysiotherapy
or kensiology
or somatic psychotherapy.

To better facilitate
the recovery of survivors
an interdisciplinary
approach
is needed
with a counsellor
and specialist
model

A combination of
one hour a week therapy
group meetings
referals to specialists
personal reading
is preferable
